SC Farm Report on Monday

   National direct slaughter cattle weekly summary. Weighted averages
for all grades, Standard to Prime, mostly Select and Choice.  Live FOB
steers 1,583 lbs at 248.38, heifers 1,405 lbs at 247.99. Dressed 
delivered steers 1,023 lbs at 388.44, heifers 894 lbs at 388.29. Weekly 
boxed beef cutout values for 600-900 carcass weights Choice 381.95, down 
0.54, and Select 379.42, down 4.56.
   National direct feeder pigs last Friday, per head weighted average
prices are delivered to the buyer's farm. Compared to last week, early 
weaned pigs are 3.00 lower and feeder pigs are mostly 6.00 lower. Trading 
moderate to active, with light to moderate demand and moderate offerings. 
Feeder pigs 10-12 lbs cash basis 78.31; 40 lbs cash basis 120.31. Hogs on 
Friday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct Barrows & Gilts 
US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs live price was 1.63 higher at 69.48. Sows 
live price 300-449 lbs 53.53, 450-499 lbs 62.04, and 500-549 lbs 64.45.
  SC Grain on Monday: Corn bids were 3 cents higher, New crop 
Bids were 2 to 3 cents higher; elevator bids 5.17, processor bids 5.32-
5.62. Soybean bids were 1 to 2 cents lower; elevator bids 11.31, 
processor bids n/a, and export 11.81. Wheat bids were 3 to 6 cents 
higher; elevator bids 5.57, processor bids 5.02-7.47.
   Cotton on Monday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 22 
cents higher at 78.04.
