SC Farm Report on Monday

   National direct slaughter cattle weekly summary. Weighted averages
for all grades, Standard to Prime, mostly Select and Choice.  Live FOB
steers 1,571 lbs at 244.96, heifers 1,413 lbs at 245.02. Dressed 
delivered steers 1,023 lbs at 384.59, heifers 899 lbs at 384.58. Weekly 
boxed beef cutout values for 600-900 carcass weights Choice 382.48, down 
9.79, and Select 383.98, down 6.11.
   National direct feeder pigs last Friday, per head weighted average
prices are delivered to the buyer's farm. Compared to last week, early 
weaned pigs and feeder pigs are steady. Trading moderate to active, with 
mostly moderate demand and moderate to heavy offerings. Feeder pigs 10-12 
lbs cash basis 80.99; 40 lbs cash basis 126.56. Hogs on Friday. Plant 
delivered weighted average. National direct Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% 
lean 240-300 lbs live price was 1.86 higher at 68.63. Sows live price 
300-449 lbs 55.79, 450-499 lbs 65.78, and 500-549 lbs 68.67.
  SC Grain on Monday: Corn bids were 1 cent lower, New crop bids 
were 1 cent lower; elevator bids 5.05, processer bids 5.20-5.50. 
Soybean bids were 14 cents lower; elevator bids 11.77, export bid 
11.27. Wheat bids were mixed, 1 cent lower to 11 cents higher; elevator 
bids 5.42, processor bids 4.90-7.32.
   Cotton on Monday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 1.31 
cents higher at 73.78.
