SC Farm Report on Wednesday

   SC Livestock Auctions: No comparisons made due to limited comparable 
sales. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 350-400 lbs 550.00; 400-450 lbs 
500.00-530.00; 450-500 lbs 470.00-480.00; 500-550 lbs 420.00-460.00. 
Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 350-400 lbs 460.00; 400-450 lbs 
450.00-460.00; 500-550 lbs 390.00-398.00; 550-600 lbs 360.00-375.00. 
Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 350-400 lbs 525.00, 400-450 lbs 480.00-
495.00, 450-500 lbs 465.00-480.00, 500-550 lbs 460.00, 550-600 lbs 
422.50, 600-650 lbs 350.00-360.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 
161.00-170.00; Boners 80-85% lean 151.00-158.00; Boner Low Dressing

137.00. Slaughter bulls: Average Dressing 178.00-184.00.
   Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-320 lbs was not reported. Sows live 
price 300-450 lbs 69.00; 450-500 lbs 77.64; 500-550 lbs 79.78.
   SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn bids were 2 cents higher, New Crop bids 
were 3 cents higher; elevator bids 5.05, processor bids 5.20. Soybean 
bids were 8 cents higher; elevator bids 11.08-11.68, and export 11.88. 
Wheat bids were mixed, 1 cent lower to 2 cents higher; elevator bids 
5.25, and processors 4.80-7.15.
   Cotton on Wednesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 61 
cents higher at 65.17.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
