SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1 400-
500 lbs 470.00-540.00, 500-600 lbs 420.00-477.50. Feeder Bulls: Medium 
and Large 1 400-500 lbs 475.00-557.50, 500-600 lbs 395.00-475.00. Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 430.00-500.00, 500-600 lbs 
380.00-430.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 166.00-185.00; Boners 
80%-85% lean 164.00-182.00; Lean 85-90% lean 145.00-161.00; Lean low 
dressing 95.00-147.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 183.00-209.00; 
High Dressing 210.00-215.00; Low Dressing 174.00-179.00.

   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs weighted average live price 
Was 63.90. Sows live price 300-450 lbs 70.68; 450-500 lbs 78.04; 500-
550 lbs 79.73.     
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn bids were mostly steady to 1 cent lower, new 
crop bids steady to 1 cent lower; elevator bids 5.03, processor bids 
5.18. Soybean bids were 5 cents higher; elevator bids 10.99-11.59, and 
export 11.79. Wheat bids were mixed, 2 cents lower to 1 cent higher; 
elevator bids 5.27, and processors 4.78.
   Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 42 cents 
higher at 64.56.
