SC Farm Report on Tuesday

SC Livestock auctions: Compared to last week no comparisons made on 
feeder cattle due to limited comparable sales. Feeder Steers: Medium and 
Large 1 350-400 lbs 500.00-575.00; 400-450 lbs 500.00-545.00; 450-500 lbs 
480.00-520.00; 500-550 lbs 455.00-467.50; 550-600 lbs 435.00-445.00; 600-
650 lbs 390.00-425.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 350-400 lbs 
470.00-530.00; 400-450 lbs 455.00-495.00; 450-500 lbs 430.00-475.00; 500-
550 lbs 390.00-420.00; 550-600 lbs 360.00-400.00; 600-650 lbs 350.00-
370.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 350-400 lbs 505.00-660.00, 400-
450 lbs 485.00-590.00, 450-500 lbs 465.00-520.00, 500-550 lbs 420.00-

pair. Medium and Large 1 1155-1320 lbs Young to Middle Aged Cows with 
Calves over 300lbs 3725.00-4000.00 per pair.
Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-320 lbs price was 60.98. Sows live 
price 300-450 lbs 67.40; 450-500 lbs 75.58; 500-550 lbs 76.27. 
       SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn bids 5 to 6 cents lower, New Crop bids 
were mostly 4 to 5 cents lower with one location 14 cents lower; elevator 
bids 5.01, processor bids 5.16. Soybean bids were 1 cent higher, elevator 
bids 10.94-11.54, processor bid n/a, and export 11.74. Wheat bids were 5 
to 11 cents lower; elevator bids 4.97, processor bids 4.76-6.87.
       Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 49 
cents lower at 62.64.
