SC Farm Report on Monday

   National direct slaughter cattle weekly summary. Weighted averages
for all grades, Standard to Prime, mostly Select and Choice.  Live FOB
steers 1,581 lbs at 241.31, heifers 1,398 lbs at 241.23. Dressed 
delivered steers 1,006 lbs at 378.00, heifers 888 lbs at 378.30. Weekly 
boxed beef cutout values for 600-900 carcass weights Choice 368.70, up 
0.71, and Select 363.83, up 0.12.
   National direct feeder pigs last Friday, per head weighted average
prices are delivered to the buyer's farm. Early weaned pigs firm and 
feeder pigs are steady to weak. Trading moderate, with moderate to
good demand and moderate offerings. Feeder pigs 10-12 lbs cash basis 
108.00; 40 lbs cash basis 123.14. Hogs on Friday. Plant delivered 
weighted average. National direct Barrows & Gilts sold weighted average 
carcass base price down 1.19 at 85.39. Sows live price 300-449 lbs 62.71, 
450-499 lbs 70.09, and 500-549 lbs 69.77.
   SC Grain on Monday: Corn trend was 1 to 2 cents lower; elevator bids 
5.03-5.04, processor bids 4.79-5.19. Soybean bids were 4 to 5 cents 
lower, elevator bids 10.70-11.51, processor bid n/a, and export 11.51. 
Wheat bids 1 cent lower; elevator bids 4.88-4.89, processor bids 4.79-
6.79.
   Cotton on Monday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.55 
higher at 60.36.
