SC Farm Report on Friday   
   SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review: Compared to last week, feeder steers 
and bulls were 12.00 higher.  Feeder heifers were 6.00 higher. Feeder 
Steers: Medium and Large 1 300-350 lbs 517.50-610.00, 350-400 lbs 470.00-
540.00, 400-450 lbs 470.00-530.00, 450-500 lbs 408.00-507.50, 500-550 lbs 
385.00-465.00, 550-600 lbs 358.00-425.00, 600-650 lbs 365.00-415.00. 
Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 300-350 lbs 500.00-565.00, 350-400 lbs 
470.00-550.00, 400-450 lbs 460.00-490.00, 450-500 lbs 450.00-485.00, 500-
550 lbs 380.00-460.00, 550-600 lbs 380.00-395.00, 600-650 lbs 340.00-
355.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 300-350 lbs 420.00-480.00, 
350-400 lbs 420.00-465.00, 400-450 lbs 470.00-530.00, 450-500 lbs 405.00-
435.00, 500-550 lbs 355.00-380.00, 550-600 lbs 350.00-357.50, 600-650 lbs 
330.00-345.00, 650-700 lbs 315.00-332.50. Slaughter cows were 2.00 
higher. Slaughter Cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 149.00-175.00; Boners 80-85% 
lean 148.00-185.00; High Dressing 189.00-225.00; Lean 85-90% lean 132.00-
168.00; Lean low dressing 80.00-138.00. Slaughter bulls were 2.00 lower. 
Slaughter Bulls: Average dressing 1355-2170 lbs 171.50-201.00; High 
Dressing 1500-1760 lbs 203.00-209.00; Low Dressing 1050-2460 lbs 140.00-
178.00.
   Goats: 142 reported Monday to Wednesday. Slaughter and replacement 
classes sold on a per head basis and weights are estimated.  Kids: Sel 1 
50-60 lbs 125.00-175.00.  Does/Nannies: Sel 1 70-100 lbs 140.00-170.00, 
100-120 lbs 145.00-230.00; Sel 2 70-100 lbs 120.00-145.00. Bucks/Billies: 
Sel 1 70-100 lbs 120.00-325.00, 100-150 lbs 200.00-360.00; Sel 2 70-100 
lbs 100.00-135.00, 100-130 lbs 140.00-180.00.
   SC Grain on Friday.  Corn bids were 6 cents higher, New crop 3 to 4 
cents higher; elevator bids 3.90-5.05, processor bids 4.60-5.20. Soybean 
bids were mostly 3 to 4 cents higher, few locations 8 to 34 cents higher; 
elevator bids 9.33-10.78, processor bids n/a, and export 10.98. Wheat 
bids were 6 to 14 cent higher; elevator bids 4.89, and processor bids 
4.80-6.79.
   Cotton on Friday.  Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 7 cents 
lower at 62.06.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
