Compared to last week: Steers 2.00-7.00 higher. Heifers over 500lbs 2.00-6.00
lower, under 500lbs unevenly steady. This week's market was a copy of last
week, with the market starting out dollars lower but as the day went on quality
improved and so did the market. Quality average. Slaughter cows 2.00-5.00
lower. Slaughter bulls 3.00 lower on lower quality. Much of Oklahoma is drying
out quickly as temperatures have been around 90 degrees. A cool front does come
through giving relief from the heat for the next couple of days but this
weekend temperatures climb back near or at 90.
