Compared to the last sale July 7-11, 2025:  Bulk of the sales were for 
future delivery but few Current FOB feeder steers in the South Central region 
sold 10.00-20.00 higher.
Current FOB sales of feeder heifers were not well tested however no 
doubt a sharply higher under tone was noted.
Demand remained extremely good the whole week despite the sharp downturn 
in cattle futures on Thursday.
Record high prices created extremely good seller interest and a record 
low number of PO's.
Supply included 17 percent from South Central; 3 percent South East; 
1 percent North East; 10 percent North Central, and 69 percent from the West.
Deliveries are current through March 2026.
Current delivery is 14 days from the last day of the sale and is up to 
and including August 14th, 2025.
 
Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (62% Steers, 36% Heifers, 1% Beef/Dairy 
Steers, 1% Beef/Dairy Heifers).
0% Replacement Cattle (7% Bred Cows, 75% Bred Heifers, 18% Cow-Calf Pairs).
Feeder cattle over 600 lbs was 50%.
Feeder Cattle prices FOB based on net weights after a 0-4% pencil shrink 
or equivalent, with up to a 30 cent slide > 600 lbs and up to a 50 cent slide
