Compared to last week: Feeder steers 1.00-6.00 lower. Feeder heifers over
750lbs 4.00-9.00 lower, under 750lbs steady to 5.00 higher. As the weather
starts to warm, buyers were more aggressive for plainer type thin fleshed
cattle with a flick of ear. Steer calves over 500lbs 2.00-7.00 lower, under
500lbs 8.00-12.00 higher. Heifer calves 1.00 to 7.00 higher. Calf quality and
condition average. Demand moderate to good. Warm and dry weather is forecasted
for the rest of the week.
