Compared to last week: Feeder cattle and calves lightly tested in early rounds
but a sharply lower undertone is noted. Demand light to moderate for feeder
cattle and moderate for calves. Cattle futures still holding the anchor and
continue to sink. Rains moved across the state last night and wheat pasture
looks in pretty good shape. Some producers have already turned calves out on
that wheat.
