Compared to last week: All classes of cattle unevenly steady. Demand good.
Quality plain to average. Morning bidding started slightly lower. When the
board opened and stayed green, cautious optimism set in and bidding leveled out
at mostly steady money. Many of the buyers expressed surprise at how the market
held together. Rain and cooler weather will move into the trading area on
Thursday.
