Compared to last week: Feeder cattle and calves lightly tested in early rounds
and unofficially feeders are opening 30.00-40.00 lower and calves up to 60.00
lower. Demand light to moderate to say the least. Most months of the cattle
futures were down the limit last Friday with those limits expanded today and
most months are trading at those expanded limits. Cool front brought some much
needed rain to the state over the weekend and another cold front expect mid
week. This will be creating health issues for those un-weaned calves.
