Compared to last week: Feeder steers steady to 5.00 higher than last week's
lighter test of steers. Feeder heifers 4.00-8.00 higher. Steer calves
10.00-20.00 higher, instance 30.00-40.00 higher. Heifer calves 15.00-25.00
higher. Demand extremely good for all classes. Friday's Cattle on Feed report
slightly friendly. Cattle futures trending sharply higher today. Demand
continues very good. Quality average to attractive. Wheat planting us well
underway. Spotty rain showers and warm weather across the state has some of
the wheat emerging.
