Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers 4.00-8.00 higher. Steer and
heifer calves mostly steady. Bulk of the supply has been feeder cattle.
Demand is very good. Several mentions of cattle being here because the wheat
has played out due to lack of rain. Some wheat in Southwestern Oklahoma has
been reported only about 3 inches tall and already heading out. Quality
average to attractive. Rain is in the forecast for the week but much of it
looks to be in Eastern Oklahoma.
