Compared to last week: Feeder cattle and calves not well tested in early
rounds but at the least, a mostly steady start. Early demand is good for all
classes, especially lighter weights. This despite continued very dry
conditions. Temperatures reached near 100 in parts of the state over the
weekend and to add to it high winds again with very little humidity. Many
fires were reported across the state on Sunday.
