Compared to last week: Feeder cattle and calves not well tested in early
rounds, at the least, a mostly steady start. Demand is good. Bullish Cattle
on Feed report last Friday with the lowest on feed number since 2017 and the
lowest January placement since 2007. Again reiterating what we have been
saying for a while, numbers are very tight. Early quality mostly average.
Weather remains extremely dry with another worry of wildfires coming tomorrow.
