Compared to last week's lighter run where calves were more lightly tested,
steer and heifer calves sold with a higher to sharply higher undertone.
Yearling steers sold steady to 10.00 higher while yearling heifers sold 15.00
to 20.00 higher. Feeder cattle futures have made significant gains since last
week, leading the charge higher along with a higher cash fed trade last week.
Demand was good to very good. Slaughter cows sold steady to weak.
