Compared to last week, steers over 700 lbs sold steady to 10.00 lower, under
700 lbs not enough for market test, however a sharply higher undertone was
noted. Heifers over 750 lbs sold steady to weak and under 750 lbs sold 2.00 to
19.00 higher. Slaughter cows sold steady to 4.00 lower. 109 steers weighing 459
lbs sold 584.00 cwt. Supply was heavy and demand was good. Majority of cattle
on offer today were coming off wheat and tended towards the fleshy side.
