Compared to last week, steers and heifers over 625 lbs sold 5.00 lower to 5.00
higher. Steer and heifer calves not enough for market test but higher undertone
noted. Slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 higher. A couple lots sold 10.00 to
15.00 higher as replacement heifers. Two exceptionally green lots sold 13.00
higher: 26 head of 652 lbs heifers sold for 434.00 cwt and 11 head of heifers
weighing 651 lbs sold for 438.00 cwt. Condition this week was fleshier than
last week, due to being on wheat.
