Compared to last week: There were few comparable sales to state a trend with
exception of 775lb steers which sold $12 higher.Some lighter calves pushed the
$2000/ hd mark this week, possibly setting a record. Heifers, on the other
hand, exhibited a lower undertone on slow demand. Slaughter cattle pushed
higher this week, with average and high yielding cows 9.00-13.00 higher and
bulls up 11.00. Much of the turnout was dry beef cows and cull bulls.
