FEEDER CATTLE 1998 804 3400
This report covers today's Board Sale results. In-barn Feeder Sale can be
found under Buckhannon Special Sale report.
Larger run by over 1,000 head compared to last month's board sale. Some lots
from multiple sources but many made up of single source cattle, all represented
with a guaranteed health program. Majority graded M/L 1. Above average
rainfall and more than adequate grazing reported for this Summer. Video
available on all lots offered.
High buyer attendance both in barn and over the telephone. Good demand pushing
active trade with Steers higher by $9-$15.50 per cwt, Heifers $22 per cwt
higher on the heavy end of the run.
