Warm weather and above average early pasture growth in North Central WV.
Aggressive trading today at the second Special Graded Feeder sale, three weeks
have passed since the last Feeder Special. Truly a feeding frenzy and a
bullish seller's market to fill the background grazer's demand as we get lower
on the calendar. Feeder Steers higher by $30 to $50 per cwt for light fives
and light four weights respectively, six weights higher by $10 per cwt. Feeder
Heifers higher by $22.50 to $24.00 for the lighter end of the run, $28.50 per
cwt higher for the light sixes.
