Bulk of supply was for future delivery.
Demand good for all classes of cattle.
CME cattle futures traded sharply lower today, but negotiated cash fed 
cattle trade was higher with live sales in the North up to 260 and dressed 
trade reaching 405.
Supply included 94 percent from the South Central Region; 4 percent from 
the South East; and 2 percent from the West.
Current delivery is 14 days from the day of the sale and is up to and 
including May 21, 2026.
Deliveries are current thru October 2026.
 
Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (3% Steers, 18% Dairy Steers, 16% 
Heifers, 34% Beef/Dairy Steers, 30% Beef/Dairy Heifers).
Feeder cattle over 600 lbs was 23%.
Feeder Cattle prices FOB based on net weights after a 0-3% pencil shrink 
or equivalent, with a 15-20 cent slide > 600 lbs and 0-30 cent slide
