No comparable FOB trades last week for a market comparison.
Demand was good.
Most of this week's receipts would have been placed on summer grass and 
sold at a later time either through direct marketing or a summer video sale.
Fairly large number of would be yearling grass cattle not able to hit 
the grazing areas due to the on going drought in a large area.
Plus cattle that would go to high elevation for summer will be limited 
as spring fed water resources are running very slow or not at all due to lack 
of snowpack and run off.
Feedlot trade was spread out for several days and overall still a really 
good market.
For the week live sales steady from 260.00 to 265.00 and dressed sales 
steady to 5.00 lower at 410.00.
 
Supply included:  100% Feeder Cattle (88.3% Steers, 11.7% Heifers).
Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 100%.
Unless otherwise noted, Feeder Cattle prices FOB based on net weights 
after a 2-3% shrink or equivalent, with a 15 cent slide > 600 lbs.
