FEEDER CATTLE 2917 5330 0
Compared to yesterday: Feeder steers and heifers unevenly steady. Good demand
for this nice offering of feeder cattle. Overall quality was a little uneven,
however there were some strings of very attractive, front-end kind of steers
and heifers. Not as many buyers on the seats as yesterday, but the market was
still very active again as the CME cattle complex saw big gains, Live Cattle up
2.02-2.87, Feeder Cattle contracts up 4.55-6.30. A good offering of yearlings,
offered in full loads and multiple load lots, overall the yearlings were pretty
fleshy but still found ample bidders.
