Rain in Iowa today helped fill the seats. Compared to the sale two weeks ago,
steers less than 600 lbs. sold mostly 5.00 to 24.00 higher, while steers 600
lbs. and heavier sold 2.00 to 10.00 lower. Heifers mostly sold 10.00 to 17.00
lower. Demand was good today especially when calves had received all their
shots. Supply was moderate and included a few load lots of reputation yearling
steers.
