Compared to two weeks ago: A lower undertone was noted on steers up to 850 lbs.
steers 850-900 lbs. sold 3.00 higher, steers 900 lbs. and up sold 8.00-13. 00
lower. A lower undertone was noted on heifers up to 650 lbs. Heifers 700-750
lbs. sold 10.00 lower, 750-850 lbs. sold steady, 850-900 lbs. sold 10.00 lower,
900 lbs. and up sold steady. Demand was good. Many large load lots in today's
offering. The next feeder cattle auction will be May 7th, expecting 3000 head
of feeders, there will be a fair amount of fall calves at this sale, starting
at 9:30 am.
