FEEDER CATTLE 4844 5349 1663
Compared to last week the market started out weak for the first sales of the
day and turned stronger about mid day and held higher until the last quarter
when prices got weaker again.Compared to last week feeder steers 450 to 550
lbs. were 5.00 to 15.00 lower, 550 to 650 lbs. were 19.00 to 22.00 lower and
650 to 700 lbs were 8,00 lower. Feeder heifers 450 to 550 lbs. were 16.00 to
17.00 lower and 550 to 600 lbs. were 33 lower. There were new buyers in
attendance today and demand for today's offering seemed up and down during the
sale . More calves coming to market weaned with a series of shots and they
commanded the upper prices from buyers today. Most calves were in light to
moderate flesh condition today. The next feeder sale will be December 3, 2025.
