Compared to last week, steers less than 450 lbs sold 15.00 higher, 450 to 600
lbs sold 4.00 to 6.00 lower, over 650 lbs 6.00 to 10.00 higher. Heifers were
lightly tested this week but on comparable offerings of calves less than 600
lbs sold 6.00 to 10.00 lower, over 750 lbs sold 2.00 higher. Slaughter steers
and heifers sold 6.00 to 9.00 lower. Slaughter cows 1.00 to 4.00 lower and
slaughter bull sold steady. Demand was good throughout the week of calves and
feeders with moderate demand on slaughter cattle.
