First reported sale in recent weeks so an accurate price trend can not be 
established.  A nice offering of yearlings today with all the cattle coming 
right off grass and met with good to very good demand.  Mostly strings and 
loads of steers on offer with a few packages of tested open heifers thrown in.  
Most cattle average to attractive in quality and carrying light flesh.  An 
active market with buyers taking multiple loads of cattle many times. Cattle 
feeders are feeling a little more positivity in the market as the futures 
complex recovers some ground lost earlier, however, outgoing cattle continue to 
lose money.  Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, September 18.
