Compared to the feeder cattle auction 2 weeks ago, 500 - 600 lb new crop steer 
calves were 12.00 to 20.00 higher with yearling steer cattle also as much as 
15.00 higher. Heifer trade saw 500 - 600 lb new crop calves 11.00 to 16.00 
higher with no trend stated on yearling cattle due to light numbers. Many 
reputation, double vaccinated new crop calves were available today of which 
many were just "off the cow". Demand was very good for today's moderate supply. 
Trade was very active. The next Feeder Cattle Auction is Oct 23rd.
