No reported sales from last week for a market comparison.
Demand was good with several buyers looking for directs to purchase but 
are having a hard time finding country cattle to buy.
Uptick in the feeder cattle market this week with the CME cattle boards 
and at the sale barns across the reporting regions.
Nebraska feedlots capitalize on the upward tick on the live cattle boards 
with live sales trading 10.00 higher from 220.00 to 222.00 and dressed sales 
sold 10.00 to 15.00 higher from 340.00 to 345.00.
Nebraska slaughter cattle are very big with carcass weights this week 
for steer, heifer and mix steer heifer hitting a new high of 982 lbs.
 
Supply included:  100% Feeder Cattle (100% Steers).
Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 100%.
Unless otherwise noted, Feeder Cattle prices FOB based on net weights 
after a 2-3% shrink or equivalent, with a 12-120 cent slide > 600 lbs.
