No recent FOB trades for a market comparison.
Demand is good with several feedlots looking for cattle to purchase.
Quite a few of the cattle that would normally be sold direct have already
been sold on video sales.
Sellers decided to market their cattle that way to take advantage of
the record prices that have prevailed since the June video sales.
Some scattered rain showers in different areas of the reporting areas.
Feedlot trade in Nebraska live sales sold 3.00 to 4.00 lower from 232.00
to 235.00 and dressed sales sold 5.00 lower at 365.00.
Some packers continue 32 hr work weeks and its adding a little downward
pressure to the feedlot trade.
Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (100% Steers).
Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 100%.
Unless otherwise noted, Feeder Cattle prices FOB based on net weights
after a 3% shrink or equivalent, with a 10 cent slide > 600 lbs.
