Compared to last week: Slaughter lambs under 100 lbs 30.00 to 60.00 higher,
over 100 lbs 10.00 to 20.00 higher. Slaughter ewes 10.00 to 25.00 higher.
Very good demand for all weights of slaughter lambs, the market was the most
active on those non-traditional weight slaughter lambs. Very good demand
remains for slaughter ewes as the supplies are rather limited. A large
offering of attractive slaughter lambs, some nice light fleshed feeder lambs in
the offering as well sold on an active market.
