Compared to the sale last week; Choice slaughter steers 3.00-5.00 lower, with
no implant cattle bringing a premium. Choice slaughter heifers 3.00 lower,
with no implant heifers remaining steady. Ten loads of heifers, five loads of
steers, along with plenty of part loads and smaller packages in the offering
today. Demand good throughout the sale.
Slaughter lambs; Light lambs 70 lbs 21.00 higher. Lambs 100-140 lbs
5.00-10.00 higher. Slaughter ewes mostly steady. Many large consignments of
good quality slaughter lambs offered today. Demand good.
