FEEDER CATTLE 6632 3044 0
Compared to two weeks ago: Feeder steers and heifers 7.00 to 10.00 higher.
Very good demand for this annual summertime BBQ feeder cattle special. A very
large offering of yearlings, many, long strings and full loads and multiple
load lots all day long. A good offering of light cattle as well in packages
and part loads. The market was very active throughout the sale as optimism
remains high amongst cattle producers and feeders. The CME Live and Feeder
Cattle contracts posted big gains after last Friday's decline, this helped to
support the market as well. Flesh condition of yearlings ran from light to
moderate plus.
