Compared to last week: Steer and heifer calves traded mostly 20.00 to 30.00
higher despite the board closing sharply lower on both the Live and Feeder
Cattle contracts. Yearlings were too lightly tested for a market trend.
Trading activity was moderate to active on good buyer demand. Slaughter cows
and bulls traded mostly steady to 2.00 higher. The majority of the supply
consisted of short weaned or unweaned calves.
