Compared to last week: Not enough comparable sales on feeder steers or heifers
but a generally steady undertone was noted. Quality ranged from plain to
attractive, with several loads of nice feeding type yearlings on offer.
Trading activity was moderate to active on moderate to good buyer demand. Not
enough comparable sales on slaughter cows or bulls for a market trend. Some
winter wheat planting began to take place last week and over the weekend ahead
of Saturday evenings rain showers.
