REPLACEMENT CATTLE 185 6 0
Bred Cow Special this evening, very good attendance and a lot of quality in the
offering that was pursued with very active trade. Young Cows, 4-6 months bred,
mostly $2700-$3250; Middle aged Cows, bred the same stage, mostly $2400-$3000;
8 years old and over, $1500-2500. Few Cow/Calf Pairs in the offering but a lot
of interest, $2900-$3600 mostly. Slaughter Cows stronger than Wednesday,
average dress higher by $6 to $10 per cwt; few Breaker Cows but higher by $14
per cwt.
