Compared to last week, slaughter cows were 3.00-5.00 lower and slaughter bulls 
were steady. Demand was good on a moderate supply of bred cows and slaughter 
animals and a light supply of pairs.  The top slaughter bull sold for 
220.00/cwt. and the top slaughter cow sold for 169.00/cwt. The first freeze of 
the season has ended pasture growth and many of those waiting to cull cows took 
advantage of the weather to bring them to town.
