Feeder cattle and calf trades once again moving sharply higher and again 
setting records in most weight categories.
Demand very good for all cattle.
But a true testament to how good the market was, is noted by lack of PO's.
Cattle futures continued to soar and since the Video Royale the last 
week of July, the August future's contract has risen almost 27.00.
Tight supplies and continued good demand for beef is steam rolling this market.
Supply included 34 percent from South Central; 6 percent South East; 
4 percent North East; 48 percent North Central, and 8 percent from the West.
Deliveries are current through April 2026.
Current delivery is 14 days from the last day of the sale and is up to 
and including September 5th, 2025.
 
Supply included: 98% Feeder Cattle (58% Steers, 35% Heifers, 4% Beef/Dairy 
Steers, 2% Beef/Dairy Heifers).
2% Replacement Cattle (22% Bred Cows, 74% Bred Heifers, 4% Cow-Calf Pairs).
Feeder cattle over 600 lbs was 49%.
Feeder Cattle prices FOB based on net weights after a 0-4% pencil shrink 
or equivalent, with up to a 40 cent slide > 600 lbs and up to a 50 cent slide
