Compared to last week: Lambs 50-60lbs, 10.00 lower; 60-70lbs, steady to 2.00
lower; 70-80lbs, 8.00 higher; 80-90lbs, 3.00 higher; 90-110lbs, 10.00 higher.
Hair lambs, 80-90lbs, mostly steady. Good 2-3 Slaughter Ewes, 4.00 lower;
Utility, mostly steady. Nice offering of lambs today, with the heavier weights
selling on very good demand. Market activity was good with buyers on the
internet and in the seats vying for some larger packages and loads of quality
lambs. Slaughter Ewes sold on good demand. A few packages of Replacement
Ewes sold, with the 4-6 yr ewes selling sharply lower. Warm weather in the
area is quickly drying up fields, as the last of the hay is being put up.
