The last reported sale was Dec. 11, so a comparison can not be made.  Nice 
offering of lambs for today's first sale of 2026, sold on very good demand, 
including several larger loads in the heavier weights.  Market activity was 
very good for lambs and a small offering of bred ewes, with buyers in the seats 
and on the internet.  Lots of producers and buyers filled the seats, with 
temperatures in the 40's.  Precipitation has been mostly non-existent, with 
sunny skies, however recent wind storms have wreaked some havoc in the area in 
the last few weeks.
