Compared to last week:  Feeder cattle and calves lightly tested for Current 
FOB, few sales were firm.
Demand very good.
Grazing pastures in the mid-west are in pretty good shape for the beginning 
of August with timely summer rains.
This has helped to boost the demand for calves.
 
Supply included:  100% Feeder Cattle (66.7% Steers, 33.3% Heifers).
Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 46%.
Unless otherwise noted, Feeder Cattle prices FOB based on net weights 
after a 2-3% shrink or equivalent, with an 8-12 cent slide > 600 lbs.
