SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1 400-
500 lbs 397.50-452.50, 500-600 lbs 370.00-385.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium 
and Large 1 400-500 lbs 390.00-447.50, 500-600 lbs 360.00-400.00. Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 360.00-400.00, 500-600 lbs 
337.50-367.50. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean none reported; Boners 
80%-85% lean 151.00-166.00; Lean 85-90% lean 144.00-150.00; Lean low 
dressing 117.50-130.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 180.00-207.00; 
High Dressing none reported; Low Dressing 135.00-176.00.  
   Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 2 1075-1165 lbs Young to Middle Aged 
Cows with Calves under 300 lbs 2350.00-2850.00 per pair. Medium and Large 
2 1040 lbs Young Aged Cow with Calf over 300 lbs 3000.00 per pair. 
   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs price was 54.46. Sows 
live price 300-450 lbs 50.51; 450-500 lbs 59.69; 500-550 lbs 62.81.     
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn bids were mostly 3 cents lower, one location 
13 cents lower; elevator bids 3.96-5.11, processor bids 4.56-5.21. 
Soybean bids 9 cents lower; elevator bids 9.23-10.63, and export 10.93. 
Wheat bids were 4 to 11 lower; elevator bids 4.69.
   Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.84  
lower at 61.35.
