SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1 400-
500 lbs 390.00-450.00, 500-600 lbs 345.00-380.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium 
and Large 1 400-500 lbs 390.00-430.00, 500-600 lbs 350.00-380.00. Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 350.00-395.00, 500-600 lbs 
310.00-353.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 154.00-165.00; Boners 
80%-85% lean 145.00-169.00; Lean 85-90% lean 143.00-152.00; Lean low 
dressing 65.00-145.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 181.00-188.000; 
High Dressing none reported; Low Dressing 152.00-176.00.  
   Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1 1310 lbs Young Aged Cow with Calf 
uner 300 lbs 3475.00 per pair. Medium and Large 2 815 lbs Young Aged Cow 
with Calf under 300 lbs 2300.00 per pair. 
   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs price was 54.29. Sows 
live price 300-450 lbs 54.56; 450-500 lbs 59.54; 500-550 lbs 65.09.     
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn bids 4 cents higher; elevator bids 
4.08-5.23, processor bids 4.68-5.33. Soybean bids were mostly 6 cents 
lower; elevator bids 9.47-10.77, and export 11.17. Wheat bids were mixed; 
6 cents lower to 13 cents higher; elevator bids 4.94.
   Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.18  
higher at 62.36.
