SC Farm Report on Thursday   
  
   Cattle at SC Auctions on Wednesday: Compared to last week no 
comparisons made on feeder cattle due to limited comparable sales. 
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs none reported; 500-600 lbs 
None reported. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 385.00; 500-
600 lbs none reported. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 
none reported, 500-600 lbs none reported. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% 
lean 144.00-156.00; Boners 80-85% lean 143.00-166.00; High Dressing none 
reported; Lean 85-90% lean 120.00-141.00; Lean Low Dressing 80.00-131.00. 
Slaughter bulls: Average Dressing 170.00, Low Dressing 140.00-179.00,High 
Dressing none reported. 
  Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1 1130 lbs Middle Aged Cow with Calf 
under 300 lbs 2700.00 per pair. Medium and Large 1 1285 lbs Young Aged 
Cow with Calf over 300 lbs 3250.00 per pair. Medium and Large 2 875-1030 
lbs Young to Middle Aged Cows with Calves under 300 lbs 1750.00-3000.00

  Hogs on Wednesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs 4.16 higher at 68.13. 
Sows live price 300-450 lbs 64.88; 450-500 lbs 72.90; 500-550 lbs 74.48.
   SC Grain on Thursday. Corn bids were mostly 4 cents lower; elevator bids 
4.05-5.10, processor bids 4.70-5.10. Soybean bids were mostly 11 cents higher; 
elevator bids 10.41-10.76, processor bids n/a, and export 11.16. Wheat bids 
were 4 to 8 cents lower; elevator bids 4.64.
   Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.18
lower at 63.12.
