SC Farm Report on Wednesday

   Cattle at SC auctions on Tuesday: No comparisons made this week due to 
limited comparable sales. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 
none reported; 500-600 lbs none reported. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 
1 400-500 lbs none reported; 500-600 lbs none reported. Feeder Heifers: 
Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs none reported; 500-600 lbs none reported. 
Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean none reported; Boners 80-85% lean 
146.00-154.00; Lean 85-90% lean 137.00-140.00; Lean Low Dressing 130.00. 
Slaughter bulls: Average Dressing 180.00-197.00; High Dressing 
none reported; Low Dressing 147.50-176.00.
   Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1 1105-1155 lbs Young to Middle Aged 
Cows with Calves under 300 lbs 2400.00-3025.00 per pair. Medium and Large 
2 1045-1150 lbs Young to Middle Aged Cows with Calves under 300 lbs 
2725.00-2750.00 per pair. Medium and Large 2 975-1075 lbs Young to Middle

   Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs was 1.06 lower at 63.97. 
Sows live price 300-450 lbs 64.03; 450-500 lbs 73.64; 500-550 lbs 76.22.
   SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn was mostly 2 cents higher; elevator bids 
4.09-5.14, processor bids 4.74-5.14. Soybean bids were mostly 2 cents 
higher; elevator bids 10.30-10.70, processor bids n/a, and export 11.05. 
Wheat bids were mostly 2 to 3 cents higher; elevator bids 4.72.  
   Cotton on Wednesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.71 
higher at 64.01.
