SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1 400-
500 lbs 397.50, 500-600 lbs 357.50. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-
500 lbs 410.00, 500-600 lbs 335.00-367.50. Feeder Heifers: Medium and 
Large 1 400-500 lbs 355.00, 500-600 lbs None reported. Slaughter cows: 
Breakers 75-80% lean 150.00-163.00; Boners 80%-85% lean 149.00-165.00; 
Lean 85-90% lean 140.00-148.00; Lean low dressing 89.00-132.50. Slaughter 
Bulls: Average Dressing 174.00-192.00; High Dressing none reported; Low 
Dressing 130.00-146.00.  
   Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 2 830 lbs Young Aged Cow with calf 
under 300 lbs 2100.00 per pair. Medium and Large 2 900 lbs Young Aged Cow 
with Calf over 300 lbs 2800.00 per pair. 
   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs price was 65.03. Sows 
live price 300-450 lbs 66.41; 450-500 lbs 74.71; 500-550 lbs 75.24.     
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn bids 3 to 4 cents higher; elevator bids 
4.07-5.12, processor bids 4.72-5.12. Soybean bids were 11 cents higher; 
elevator bids 10.28-10.68, and export 11.03. Wheat bids were 3 cents 
higher; elevator bids 4.69-4.72.
   Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.49  
higher at 63.30.
